The Collin County Detention Facility is a direct supervision facility and is a secure and humane environment for staff and inmates. A detention officer is always present inside each housing unit to interact with and supervise the inmates.

Inmates can make pre-paid account calls only. Family and friends can place money on a specific phone number through ICSolutions. Inmates can purchase phone time from commissary accounts.
Visits are 25 minutes. You must sign up 20 minutes before visitation. Late visitors cannot visit an inmate. Visitors must present valid identification and appear on the inmate’s visitation list. One adult visitor per inmate will be allowed each visitation day. Children can visit on a space available basis.
Money for the inmate must be deposited at the kiosk for the commissary. Note the jail cannot accept messages from inmates, and inmates cannot receive incoming calls. All mail must go through the Postmaster, and visitors must be properly dressed. You cannot take anything back into the visitation area.
